Professor Rajesh Solanki has a significant record of leading successful Quality and Continuous Improvement transformations across businesses and higher education institutions, spread over 39 years. He has developed and implemented Quality and Lean Six Sigma programs for the past 23 years in the US at Case New Holland, Ingersoll Rand, RTI International Metals, International Equipment Solutions (IES) and most recently at Plexus Corporation. Rajesh is effective at creating opportunities to find value-added opportunities across a diverse range of industries such as Automotive, Electronics, Industrial Consumer Products and Heavy Machinery. His academic and research experience that began at MNIT, matured at Temple University, US, led him to take on leadership roles for transforming manufacturing and business processes in the US. Prof. Solanki led the Quality Compliance Directorate at Manipal University Jaipur, India to support their Quality journey to achieve Academic Excellence that culminated with an A+ from NAAC under the new database guidelines. He led the Department of Automobile Engineering to develop an Outcome Based Education curriculum that enables undergrads to be industry ready and become valuable contributors as they enter the Automotive Industry, through use of Lean Six Sigma methodologies for Internship and Departmental projects.
